Diana Smakhtina (Head of SigmaBleyzer’s Kharkov Office) emphasized in the interview with SQ that organization of this training shows how Supervisory Boards can influence company development and improve professional level of managers of the enterprises. According to Mrs. Smakhtina, today there is no problem in getting production orders for normally operating plants, though there is a necessity to perfect financial management. The time for the training was chosen with the idea for the managers to get new ideas and new approaches to financial management before developing plans for the next year. As a training facilitator, SigmaBleyzer invited Carlos Avalyan, professional trainer from Kiev agency Infor Manager. The training will last for two days. Some of the participants are top managers from the Pershotravnevy Agricultural Machinery Plant, Berdyansk Reapers, the Melitopol Tractor Hydro Units Plant, Poltava Confectionery, and a number of other companies. SigmaBleyzer manages controlling stakes in these joint-stock companies (owned by the Ukrainian Growth Funds – UGF).
