On December 22, 2009, The Bleyzer Foundation held another round table for experts and mass media representatives entitled 2010 Risks. What to Prepare for?



The discussion touched upon the following topics:

- Consensus expectations for 2010
- Will the real economy sector begin to recover? What steps must be taken to turn plans into reality?
- Inflation risks. Can we expect well-balanced monetary and budget policies?
- Debt restructuring possibilities in 2010. How important is cooperation with the IMF?
- A thought-out budget policy. It is feasible to raise social standards?
      - Risks of loosing institutes
- Hryvnia stability. Risks of exchange rate imbalances
- Balance of payments condition. Has this risk disappeared or the situation can recur?
- Borrowing. Risks of growing debts and short-term government borrowings. New initiatives of the Ministry of Finance.
