Mr. Bugica, a Romanian citizen, holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering, from University “Politehnica” in Bucharest and a BA in Finance, Banking and Stock Exchanges from the Academy of Economic Studies. He was granted a  1 year scholarship in Banking and Capital Markets, by the Turkish Bank Association in the “Young Bankers from CEE countries” Program at the Centre for International Banking Studies, Turkey. He also took part in other various seminars and courses in banking, capital markets and equity research organized by Booz, Allen & Hamilton,  Franklin College in Switzerland, Citibank, Reuters Open Univeristy.

He has more than 10 years experience in banking, equity research, brokerage and corporate finance. He is responsible for the overall management of Romania’s operations  and the development of relationships with various officials to establish contacts in the local financial community. Mr. Bugica is also responsible for identifying and recommending suitable investment opportunities and, together with the relevant SigmaBleyzer personnel, on the structuring and pricing of the deals contemplated by the fund in Romania. In addition to his native Romanian, he is fluent in English has good knowledge of French.
