Mr. Bodaev graduated from Kharkiv Aviation Institute.  His post-graduate studies include a certificate from the Viennese University, specialty “Business organization in Eastern Europe” and certificate from Ukrainian Academy at Ministry of Industrial Policy, specialty “Management and marketing in industrial sector”.

In 1989-1992 he worked as expert of USSR cabinet council and cabinet council of Kazakhstan in the area of liberalization of foreign-economic activity and creation of joint ventures, he was among founders of first private joint ventures in Moscow, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. From 1995, he worked as an advisor in different committees of the Verchovna Rada in questions of investments and industrial policy.

In 2000, Mr. Bodaev filled the post of the Head of SigmaBleyzer Representative Office in Ukraine.
