Marc Sharpe
Marc Sharpe is an Executive Director for SigmaBleyzer based in Houston, TX. Since 1994, Mr. Sharpe has worked in a variety of roles within the private equity, family office and investment industries, in both the U.S. and Europe.

In the U.S., he was an early investor in a number of successful hedge funds and helped LJH Global Investments, Inc. launch a private equity practice. He also worked for Dell in Austin, TX, where he helped launch a digital entertainment strategy for the Consumer Division and rolled out the Dell kiosk program in over 200 malls throughout the United States. In the UK, he founded an incubator business for The Protégé Group, where he successfully funded and launched four technology-related businesses.

Mr. Sharpe started his career as an investment banker for Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc. in New York. He was most recently Research Director and Portfolio Manager for Galapagos Partners, L.P. Prior to that, Mr. Sharpe worked in the Investment Management Division for Goldman Sachs in Houston.

Mr. Sharpe is actively involved in the Houston community. He serves on the Board of the Holocaust Museum Houston and chairs the Cultural Bridges Young Leadership Committee. He also serves as Chairman of the Houston Family Office Association, is an Officer for the Harvard Business School Club of Houston, and sits on the Investment Committee of the Houston Jewish Community Foundation. He is a member of the Houston Angel Network, the Greater Houston Partnership, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Turnaround Management Association.

Mr. Sharpe holds an MA from Cambridge University, an M.Sc. from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was both a Fulbright and Harvard Scholar.
