Morgan Williams is Director of Government Affairs for the Washington, D.C. office for SigmaBleyzer. Mr. Williams was a consultant to SigmaBleyzer in 2001 and joined the company in 2004. In Washington, he works with the various agencies of the U.S. government, members of Congress, Congressional committees, the Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S., international financial institutions, think tanks and other organizations on U.S.-Ukraine business, trade, investment and economic development issues.
Mr. Williams has worked in the field of international economic and business development for thirty years. He started his work regarding Ukraine in 1992 as senior advisor to a major food system development project in Russia and Ukraine working with U.S. agribusinesses that were investing in the former Soviet Union. Since then, Mr. Williams has been recognized for his contribution to the people of Ukraine and to Ukraine's economic development by being awarded the Distinguished Services Order by former President, Viktor Yushchenko.
Mr. Williams holds a BA degree from Ottawa University, Ottawa, Kansas and an MA degree in economics from the University of Kansas. He was awarded a National Woodrow Wilson Fellowship in 1961 and in 1962 was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Kansas.
